Mayor gives scolding
Mayor Keith Holliday's chastisement that the "citizens need to recognize … and give some thank yous" for the "major park given to the city of Greensboro" is another example of the pusillanimous position often taken by the City Council when organizations request taxpayer money.

I'm constantly amazed at the arrogance of the leader's of this city. In reality the thank you's should go to citizen's like us who recognize this and still choose to live here.

Did he really say that? Center City Park is not being given to the city. It will remain in private hands although the city will get to pay for its maintenance.

While we are thanking people, should we thank Skip for stealing our tax money? Should we THANK Mr. Davis for throwing stones at our Tax Auditor when he himself had not paid his taxes?
Things that make ya go hmmm....
