Bin Laden endorses Democrats' platform

The congressional Democrats' most-admired foreign "dissident," Osama bin Laden, has again spoken to them through CNN's sister station, al-Jazeera, thanking them for their support. Saying that he also hates George Bush, he will continue to help them bring down the Bush presidency and, if necessary, the country. Bin Laden recited the Dems' talking points and even mentioned a Gallup poll showing that he and they share many of the same goals.

How did Howard Dean get those talking points to the correct cave in Pakistan? Dean must have Osama's cell number on speed dial.

Bin Laden particularly praised Sen. Harry Reid for killing the Patriot Act, which is a real thorn in Osama's side. Kudos also went to House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi, Sen. Dick Durbin and Sen. Teddy Kennedy, among others, for leading the fight for the al-Qaida "Bill of Rights."

Sleep well, Osama: The Dems are fighting to keep us from intercepting your calls to our country.

Also don't forget to mention John McCain and his efforts to extend the rights provided under the US constitution to terrorists, lest you be accused of a 'partisan' attack on the democrats.

To be fair and balanced, the democrat Party has been hijacked by the extreme left wing. Kerry, Kenndy, Pelosi, Fienstien, Ried, Barney Frank, Joe Biden, Conyers, Sheila Jackson Lee, Kucinich et al sway in the breeze of moveon.org and it's supporters. (Hillary has moved toward the center in a blatant attempt at getting more right of center votes).

The WOT is THE main issue in this next election. A majority of Americans support the war, and support the way it's being fought, despite the DNC's best efforts to undermine it and make it's negatives the focal point of any debate. So long as radical left element controls the money (what little money is left) in the DNC it will be money down the drain in terms of poll results, IMO.

Cue here for Demondeacon to retort using sarcastic, insulting moveon talking point adjectives to desribe Bush, Cheney, Rove, Rumsfeld, Powell, Rice, etc.

Aside to Hugh: moveon.org? I thought the DD was more of a Kos Kid......

Oh, and so as not to disappoint you, Hugh:
Whenever you cannot put forth a coherent strategy, you resort to questioning a group's or even one's patriotism. Like all the drivel that comes from Tony Moe, this LTE is the same old rehash of Democrats are EVIL and Republicans are party of GOD.
Grow up.

Dittos....

It's pretty bad that the Democrats put their party loyalty (and insane hatred for President Bush) above the national defense of the United States. And they whine when we question their patriotism....

hugh [TypeKey Profile Page] said:

DD, Where do you read anything about God in Tony's letter?

And yes, I question the patriotism of Hillary Clinton, Nancy Pelosi, Dianne Fienstien, Barney Frank, Joe Biden, Teddy Kennedy and John Conyers and Sheila Jackson Lee.

I think they'd be the first in line to volunteer for party positions in a new communist USA if that ever happened.

"Grow up"

LOL! The pot calls the kettle black......

This is one of the most inane letters to the editor I've ever seen. It's certainly lacking a lot of forethought.

When was the last time we *saw* Osama Bin Laden? Well over a year at least. It's not that difficult to make a videotape, even under the worst conditions. If he can send an audiotape to al-Jazeera, he should also be capable of sending a videotape of himself. A videotape would certainly be a more forceful image to send to one's troops than would be done by merely sending along a voice message.

But let's suppose that Bin Laden *is* still alive (which a lot of authorities doubt that he is, as there is strong doubt that this audiotape is legit). First of all he's the most wanted man in the world. Second, he ain't in the best of health: reportedly he requires kidney dialysis and has difficulty walking. Wherever he is, he must be living in the most primitive of conditions. Whatever flow of information he has access to is in all likelihood going to be that of only absolute importance.

Does anyone seriously believe that Osama Bin-Laden, in the situation he is in if he's even still alive, is going to be very interested in the outcome of a Gallup poll? Would Bin-Laden even care who Harry Reid is, or Ted Kennedy for that matter? Nancy Pelosi? Most Americans don't even know who she is... much less somebody hunkering down in a cave that smells of camel dung thousands of miles away.

And even if he were, would he squander what little resources he might have, putting everything regarding his safety and security in jeopardy, by wasting precious bandwidth on a "hello my friends in the Democrat party" greeting??

If Osama Bin-Laden thought so highly of the Democratic party, he would have sent a videotaped message praising them. Instead there's only a voice message from Lord-only-knows-where. It could have come from *anybody*.

Mr. Moschetti has built his existence around intense hatred of all things Democrat. This hatred has blinded him from the all-too-possible likelihood that this was an audio message intended to tickle his ears into reacting without engaging his critical thought processes. A recent scientific study proved that partisan Democrats and Republicans are largely incapable of considering facts, instead relying on their emotions over their ability to think... and they get a "rush" from ignoring information contrary to their own party's view. Mr. Moschetti's letter is quite an example of how valid this study is.

(For anyone who's interested more information can be found at http://www.livescience.com/othernews/060124_political_decisions.html )

Time to stop thinking what your political party wants you to think. And don't take at face value anything the "experts" in the government or wherever show to you. It's very much possible that this tape is a fraud... and it looks like at least one person was all too eager to fall for it.

nemo0037 [TypeKey Profile Page] said:

What I think is so sad about this sort of "political discourse" these days is that it's virtually impossible to tell when a person is truly speaking his mind or putting out an over-the-top parody...

neocon [TypeKey Profile Page] said:

Bin Laden and the democrats are indeed on the same page. You don't have to rely on a tape to see this:

Dem Talking Point No. 1: BUSH STOLE THE 2000 ELECTION
In bin Laden's version, President George H.W. Bush began planning to steal the 2000 election years in advance:

"He was bright in putting his sons as governors in states and he didn't forget to transfer his experience from rulers of our region to Florida to falsify elections to benefit from it in critical times."

Dem Talking Point No. 2: BUSH MISLED AMERICA
In bin Laden's version, the terror kingpin warns that Bush is covering up the "true reason" for the 9/11 attacks:

"Although we are ushering the fourth year after 9/11, Bush is still exercising confusion and misleading you and not telling you the true reason. Therefore, the motivations are still there for what happened to be repeated."

Dem Talking Point No. 3: BUSH WASTED TIME ON 9/11 BY STAYING WITH CHILDREN READING IN A CLASSROOM
Bin Laden distorts the 9/11 timeline to pretend that the Twin Towers weren't already under attack as Bush listened to children read a book in a Florida elementary school class:

"We never knew that the commander in chief of the American armed forces would leave 50,000 of his people in the two towers to face those events by themselves when they were in the most urgent need of their leader. He was more interested in listening to the child's story about the goat rather than worry about what was happening to the towers. So, we had three times the time necessary to accomplish the events."

Dem Talking Point No. 4: BUSH IS A FASCIST
A favorite of radical Democrats, bin Laden compares the Bush administration to the authoritarian regimes in the Mideast:

"What happened was that he was impressed by the monarchies and the military regimes, and he was jealous of them staying in power for tens of years, embezzling the public money without any accountability. And he moved the tyranny and suppression of freedom to his own country, and they called it the Patriot Act, under the disguise of fighting terrorism. And Bush, the father, found it good to install his children as governors and leaders."

Dem Talking Point No. 5: THE BUSH FAMILY IS TOO CLOSE TO SAUDI ROYALS
Bin Laden complains that their relationship spans two generations:

"The resemblance started when [former President George H.W.] Bush, the father, visited the area, when some of our own were impressed by America and were hoping that the visits would affect and influence our countries."

Dem Talking Point No. 6: AMERICAN FOREIGN POLICY IS TO BLAME
Here bin Laden adopts the position of the Cynthia McKinney wing of the Democratic Party, which blames the alliance between the U.S. and Israel for provoking the 9/11 attacks:

"After the injustice was so much and we saw transgressions and the coalition between Americans and the Israelis against our people in Palestine and Lebanon, it occurred to my mind that we deal with the towers. And these special events that directly and personally affected me go back to 1982 and what happened when America gave permission for Israel to invade Lebanon. And assistance was given by the American Sixth Fleet."

From my previous post...

"A recent scientific study proved that partisan Democrats and Republicans are largely incapable of considering facts, instead relying on their emotions over their ability to think... and they get a "rush" from ignoring information contrary to their own party's view. Mr. Moschetti's letter is quite an example of how valid this study is."

Worth citing since another example has since chimed in.

Neo,
Got to get back to my Super Bowl party soon, but must say your post is pathetic. You copy and paste well from whatever right wing site you are visiting on a regular basis. You must have been the subject of some "brainwashing" scheme by a lunatic school of demagogery. Your conservative Lord is not even conservative, but you still make excuses for him. What is it that makes you follow so blindly? Could it be you actually think he is conservative?

neocon [TypeKey Profile Page] said:

"Useful idiots" indeed !!

DemonDeacon,
See my first post above. It's now scientifically proven that rabid partisans, be they Democrat or Republican, have a great tendency to NOT think for themselves. The centers of their brains responsible for critical thought "turn off" while their emotional centers turn wildly up. They're incapable of considering facts if those facts conflict with the positions of their party. Hating other people because of political affiliation is like a drug addiction to them: they get "high" off of putting down and disparaging others.

What you are seeing here is a person who does not have the strength of will to fight his urges to yield to collective madness. And with his last post you see that being incapable of putting forth a RATIONAL argument, he resorts to childishness.

Go to the link I posted above. It's hard to deny that there's a lot of validity to what this study is saying, the more you see from the hardcore partisans here.

DemonDeacon [TypeKey Profile Page] said:

Knightshift,
I went back and read your posts. Seems you are on to something.
Thought escapes those who are so entrenched in emotional partisanship. Evidently, it is people like Neocon, Moschetti, and Dan who cannot think outside the parameters of party affiliation and that makes them perfect "worker bees". Moschetti probably viewed tonight's super bowl, thinking one side was the Democrats and the other was the Republicans---his world is "Us vs. Them" when it should be "What can we do to make the world a better place?"

neocon [TypeKey Profile Page] said:

Nitey shift, all your 'scientific' bs aside, you can't dispute the letter writer's point. That being that the liberal democrats are espousing the same bs that obl is.

FYI, I have many problems with Bush and the republicans. They are far too liberal. But it cannot be denied that the democrats are undermining the war on terror for political gain. (they hope)

To be honest with you, I kinda enjoy watching you and your ilk (world traveler, who is a simple parrot to anyone with your view and can't seem to come up with anything by himself. Note how he always chimes in after you post to agree with you. lol) get worked up to the point of personally attacking someone. It ammuses me to no end. You wet behind the ear punks who place yourselves up on a pedestal and point to anyone who does not swallow your liberal bilge as 'unthinking' is a f#*@!#g joke. Come back in about 30 years and we'll talk. I may actually be able to listen to what you have to say then with a straight face. lol

Your 'scientific'website is also a big f@#%*&g joke. All those ads for "Bush sucks" t-shirts and "Don't blame me I voted for Kerry" bumper stickers. Surely even you can't be gullible enough to buy that crock of horse s#!t!

After going back and scanning over your posts, maybe you DO buy that bs after all. lol lol lol

neocon, you continue to prove every point I have made in my posts.

And you've demonstrated to everyone on this board that polite conversation is beyond your comprehension, given your foul use of language.

If you persist with this behavior, you are only going to dig yourself into a deeper hole.

neocon [TypeKey Profile Page] said:

"You are only going to dig yourself into a deeper hole"

Nitey shift, you're breaking my heart. Go play outside.

Cue here for world traveler to jump in and say "yeah, neocon, you're only digging your own hole". lol lol

DemonDeacon [TypeKey Profile Page] said:

Seriously, Neocon, if you only tempered your emotions with some reason, you would not be rendered such a hack. Your explosive outbursts, profanity, and a lack of useful additions to the discourse just proves the point made by the Knight.

DemonDeacon [TypeKey Profile Page] said:

If anyone has questions about my words to Hugh, you need to read the post from PHOTO GIRL on the LTE by Mr. Kincaid. She made the mission of this blog, manifest.

neocon [TypeKey Profile Page] said:

Took you awhile to come out from under your rock world traveler, but here you are sucking up to nitey shift again.

Don't worry,he'll be back soon whinnig about his "scientific" proof that people who dissagree with him are 'unthinking' and you can echo him again. Meanwhile I see Kurt Lauenstein (sp?) has a lte this morning. Perhaps you can latch on to his coattails and come up with a few zingers? Worth a try!

neocon [TypeKey Profile Page] said:

BTW world traveler, I can recall several instances of comments such as "BUCK FUSH" and "Bush is a f*%#@^g idiot!" and I don't recall you calling them out for being a 'hack' and using profanity.
Could it be that you have a slightly- only slightly, mind you- different standard of decency when the offender is more in line with your beliefs? Hmmm???

Hypocricy on parade...

Denzien [TypeKey Profile Page] said:

News and Record, I am ashamed of you for printing a letter that serves no purpose but to enflame.

Tomorrow, can you please print a piece about how the Holocaust never happened?

And the day after, how about an expose on Reverend Fred Phelps, founder of godhatesfags.com?

Way to really push for civil and rational discourse, N&R.

DemonDeacon [TypeKey Profile Page] said:

With Moschetti, it's same old tired whine, just a different day:
Democrats are bad, Democrats are bad, oooooooo, look out the evil liberals will get you!!! Terror, Terror, Terror! The liberal Democrats are ruining everything....The Democrats are communists, the Democrats are just evil doers....Danger, Danger, Danger!!

He is one of those one dimensional sideline players whose reason to live is to villify Democrats.

DemonDeacon [TypeKey Profile Page] said:

Before I forget, let me add:

Any Democrat who would stoop to saying the Republican Party is the party of Bin Laden and the terrorists is just as one dimensional.
