Two-ring circus acts
Kind of makes it easier to enjoy the circus if you can get its various acts all in the same place ... so how about asking the Truth & Reconciliation folks to investigate the Project Homestead folks?

Guy, if the investigation doesn't go to suit them you can be assured that the T&R will be up and running.
If however it goes as it it is currently will with nothing being opened to the public, then don't hold your breath.
I agree it would be more fun than a two or even three ring circus.

I heard on the news this morning that the City Council was being denied access to the SBI report due to the fact that there were informants information contained in it. Hello? Ever heard of White Out? Corruption is running ramant and I pray that the City Council pursues this with reckless abandon until they get the answers they need. This can't simply be swept under the rug.

I think the City is pretending to care. I don't believe they really want to see the report at all. I'd be surprised if some of them weren't involved.

You all had better believe that the many city council members and city officials were involved and recipients of the largess with public money that the directors of Project Homestead permitted. Their interest is a sham and sop to the public. Go to this blog site for a summary of the N&R investigative report on Project Homestead. http://guarino.typepad.com/guarino/2006/03/homestead_memor.html There was and still is a whole lot of hanky-panky going on stemming from this scheme.
