Blame the legislators

I am indignant about the state of affairs in the United States. We send many of our citizens overseas to fight in foreign wars that cost us money and put us in debt.

Meanwhile, our legislators ignore the real problem. We have a large illegal immigrant population that refuses to learn our language or meet citizenship requirements.

Because illegal immigrants work for lower wages, fewer jobs are available for U.S. citizens. When will legislators wake up and do something about our problems?

I agree, that's never going to happen...

But, Juanita, you should know that there isn't a federal law that states you must speak the English Language, while in America. Consider learning their language.

Juanita, the legislators are going to do nothing but instead of blaming just the legislators perhaps one should just look in the mirror and see just who elected the entire bunch of do-nothings. Until you Juanita, and those who constantly complain and ask "what are they going to do" start asking what am I going to do, then nothing will be done. Remember the words of John Kennedy? "Ask not what your country can do for you but what you can do for your country." I believe it aptly applies in reply to you.
May I suggest Juanita that in November of 06, you go to the polls and vote against everyone of the do-nothings now seated in the hallowed halls of Congress. That will be a start and then in November of 08 do the same with the remaining do-nothings. Then Juanita you will know what can be done instead of still asking what are"they going to do." Take a stand Juanita and do as I and others are going to do. Vote them out! Then Juanita we intend to get term limits placed on them inorder to discontinue the fiasco of career legislators who are imbedded within the pockets of lobbyist.
That Juanita is the answer to your question, like it or not.

I agree, Mr. P. Let's get rid of all the career politicians. Replace every one of them with new blood. Now, that's what I'm talking about!

If the sorry nogoods in office now intended to do anything about illegals, pork projects, an out of control budget, freebies for every undeserving individual, yada, yada, they would have already started. And as you can see and read, the incumbents are sitting around enjoying a life of leisure while Joe and Jane taxpayer foots the bills.

Let's send them packing.
