Don't dumb it down
The air is not "stupid" ("Stupid air, it'll make us all itchy," May 30). People are, for allowing our environment to deteriorate like it is. That you would approve such a "stupid" headline shows bad judgment on your part, in my opinion.
Please don't be so "stupidly" common on such a serious issue.
But, if you think that is the way to get through to President Bush, you might be right. Problem is, he probably won't read it.

Bill Clinton: "It's the economy stupid"
Al Gore: "It's global warming stupid".
Gore said on 60 Minutes last night he's not running. Too bad, I would have loved to see him & Hillary tangle.

Dan,
How do you like the new Treasury Secretary, an outspoken critic of the Republican Party on global warming and the environment? He'll probably go down the same road as Christy Todd Whitman, and have to resign after his head burst open from banging it up against a brick wall.
Are you also one of these folks who believe there is no credible evidence that the world is over 10,000 years old? Just wondered, as it would be consistent with your environmental denial.

This letter to the editor is stupid.

Momma always said, "Stupid is as stupid does."

I'm beginning to think we have to "dumb down" everything so that the Bush Derangement Syndrome folks (The 28% hardcore supporter of W)can understand it.

The only dumbing down comments DD are yours. I thought you were trying to improve your level to that of a 6 yr old instead of a 3 yr old. You're slipping boy real fast. Come on DD, I have read some rather half way decent stuff from you recently. Why do you need to act like the little organ grinders monkey? Grow up and make a contribution instead of acting just plain ignorant and sometimes just plain stupid. It grows wearisome DD.

Produce,
Quit patronizing everyone who posts here. You armchair quarterback where you don't know which end is up. Go back to pretending you are a secret Agent looking for the Russkies behind every wall. You were much more entertaining then. Keep your Walter Mitty personna and ditch the Professor Know-it-all routine.

Once again you prove me correct in my opinion of you DD.
Who the heck is patronizing anyone. If I agree is that patronizing? I stated that you can do better and I have seen evidence of it in the past, that is factual, not patronizing. Hopefully you might take the hint. If I disagree that is wrong according to you also. Get it right boy and grow up. Stop being the little monkey on the grinders box.

Give it a rest. You are a broken record.
