Greensboro is the center

Allen Johnson suggests in his Nov. 19 piece about sectarian squabbles of Guilford County that the main school office be moved near the airport because it's a central location.

I thought Greensboro was the center of Guilford County. That's why it's the county seat.

Since the school office already is in the county seat, why move it?

High Point should go ahead and seceed from Guilford County. Greensboro would be better off and they would too. High Point/Jamestown could join up with Davidson County which better represents their thinking on political and cultural issues. Heck, we could even throw in some incentives like...Hey, you get to keep Susan Mendenhall, Bruce Davis, and we'll even throw in old man Hennis from down on Groometown Road!
High Point---Davidson County is calling your name!

DD, since I call Jamestown home, I think your comment is a bit off the wall. While I support many of your ideas, your "mouth" lately needs to be washed out with lye soap. You are acting like a jerk and disappoint me greatly.
