Bellamy-Small should point a finger at herself
I would like to add my two cents' worth on the Dianne Bellamy-Small fiasco. She is one of the pack leading the charge against the so-called corruption in the Greensboro Police Department; however, her behavior is just as bad as the alleged behavior she is pointing her finger at. She is using her position to receive preferential treatment by the same department that she accuses of being corrupt -- not to mention the other questionable behavior.
Though we don't expect perfection from our leaders and elected officials, we do expect a higher standard and that they should lead by example. She should have commended the officer who stopped her for speeding for being diligent instead of trying to intimidate him.
Why the voters in her district continue to return her to office is baffling. You can do better.

Oh it's gotten worse. Now DBS has her buddies from the Pulpit Forum playing the race card. How predictably pathetic.
"Ministers from the predominantly black Pulpit Forum on Thursday accused Gatten of launching a "political lynching campaign." The group’s statement also said the treatment of Bellamy-Small is "deeply rooted in racist assumptions and values."

Notice the word "lynching"? Nice.
Stopping a black woman speeding 15mph over the limit and giving her a warning instead of a ticket is racist?
Agreed, the people of her district deserve better. Unfortunately many of them buy into the same "victim of racism" mentality. Until they shed that mentality and join the rest of the human race they will wallow in defeat and self pity while accomplishing absolutely nothing.

THANK YOU, Keivin Smith, B. L. Woltz and Shirley J. Wright, for residing in Greensboro. It emancipates DemonDeacon and me to turn our attention to other topics and/or activities.
Have a pleasant weekend, DD.

Thank you for your introduction there Jack, and welcome aboard!
Mr. Smith,
Most fair minded adults here agree with your letter. Trouble is now, what do we do? DBS is a stubborn individual whose 15 minutes of fame was up several months back. As many have pointed out, she does, in fact, represent the people of her district. As unfortunate as that seems, just think of those poor ol' blokes who are the mirror image of her ignorance and obstinance.
Kind of reminds me of district five County Commissioners we've had over the years---whew! Robert Moores, that toupee'd darling whose rug looked as if it had chinstraps, represented the district with rants and attacks on the opposing party, mainly the leaders. The GOP did censure him, but it didn't stop his bizarre behavior. So, now who represents district 5? None other than Billy Yow. So you see, there is the connundrum. These folks are the ones chosen by the majority of their district. Sad, but true

Easy to say for a cracka who flys around the country in a private aircraft! :]

Yeah but I'm the great grandson of an impoverished Irish potato farmer. We "Irish-Americans" were mistreated so I too should be wallowing in misery.

Dianne Bellamy-Small is a racist gangster punk. Pushing her agenda around like she's queen of Afreaka.
We citizens of Greensboro fart in your general direction . . . its the least amount of respect we can give you.
