Keep recorder rolling
After reading about Councilwoman T. Dianne Bellamy-Small's run-in with the police and her actions during and after the incident, I think her last name fits her character: "small." Is she not the one who refused to cooperate in the investigation as to who leaked some information a while back?
The police need to protect themselves against arrogant politicians by keeping their cameras and tape recorders on when dealing with these self-appointed petty tyrants.

Jack,
You've got to admit, these High Point folks just love a little "intrigue in the palace"...someone else's palace that is!!

Well, you do have to give 'em credit for identifying their city of residence by writing a LttE. As opposed to you and I.
For all I know, you may reside in Toad Suck, Arkansas ... 'bout 40 miles NW of Little Rock.
And for all you know, I may be in Mud Lick, Kentucky ... roughly 45 miles SE of Bowling Green.
Freedom of Speech has no city, county or state limits in the Good Ol' US of A.
And that, as they say, is my parting shot on the topic. Enjoy the rest of your weekend, DD. See ya soon on another thread.

Deacon, DBS only allows those of us in HP know that others are not immune to inherently stupid local politicians! I personally thank GSO for having DBS. Yet, I am saddened as well. What a poorly informed voting electorate that will elect someone such as this for the sole reason of race. What a travesty to the democratic system.
Shalom

Her last name is Bellamy-Small, not Small.
