'You reap what you sow'
In response to the commentary "Death to all rapists" by Solomon Burnette in the Campus Echo at N.C. Central:
The Good Book says, "You reap what you sow." If you have stripper parties or you are the stripper, it can't be good and neither can the outcome.
So, before you plant anymore of this crop of hate and discontent, throttle back and think because the roots in this field run deep and spread like kudzu.
Solomon, it takes a lot of good seed to fix what you are planting because they don't have a 24-hour roundup for attitudes or beliefs.
Check your seeds?

Does anyone have any idea what this guy is talking about?

he's asking the blacks at nccu to not use this excuse for violence because she shouldn't have provoked it by dancing nude in the first place.
OR, it's a reaction to some type of recreational drug...

I believe this LTTE writer is saying that the stripper is not the only one to bear blame in what happened with the Duke lacrosse team/members.
Mr. Neese; friend, you speak my mind!

What Darryl and the LTE writer are clinging to is the same root off the end of the cliff that so many in the They Must Be Guilty of Something Club are clinging to. Here's the progression:
April 2006:
1) The Duke Lacrosse players are rapists! Bang Pots! Castrate them!
December 2006:
2) Ok, so they're not rapists! But- BUT- they are sex offenders and kidnappers! Lock 'em up!
March 2007:
3) Awright, um, they're not rapists, sex offenders or kidnappers and the DA and the accuser lied and tried to railroad these guys. But I hate them! I hate them! They must be guilty of something and made to pay! I know: They're Stripper Hirers! Stripper Hirers!Hisssssss... boo... bang pots...
Darryl, hiring strippers may be unseemly, but it is probably one of the most banal activities you'll find- every night- on college campuses in this country.
Perhaps you'd prefer they take the hands-on approach in the future? You know, behind closed doors? Duke philosophy professor Alex Rosenberg, one of the 88 Duke professors who signed the now-infamous 'Listening Statement', explained his moral outrage this way:
"Why did they hire strippers in the first place, when they could get as much hookup as they wanted from rich and attractive Duke coeds?"
Much better, right?

Good points Prag, so many people like the New Black Panthers, Julienne Malveaux, Darryl, and various & sundry other race baiters have invested so much in this case that they simply cannot admit they were wrong and have since joined the "They must be guilty of something club" as you aptly term it.
I bet stripper hiring has dropped precipitously since this case, a blow to decent strippers incomes everywhere.

"Check your seeds?"
They already did that John, the stripper turned up negative for seeds from the lacrosse players.

When the records show that some of these young men are involved in malicious activities outside of and off of the Duke campus/Durham; it causes doubts and suspicions to arise in my consciousness. If that is wrong in the eyes of others, so be it. I stand by my convictions.
