Fire chief should lose job over abuse of authority
If ever there was an abuse of power, Fire Chief Teeters has shown it to us. His use of his own men to work at his houses is an absolute misuse of his power and position. What he has been doing is tantamount to stealing. It doesn't matter if he paid them or not. The man needs to be fired immediately. Not only should he be fired, I think he needs to be jailed. Or better yet, let him go work on his employees' houses.
Good luck. Pigs will fly before the chief does something for one of them.
Does anyone think that when the chief asks one of his men to work at the chief's house, that the employee is going to say, "Sorry, chief, I have my own life to live"? The employee doesn't dare refuse, knowing he will likely be overlooked for promotion.

Isn't that what cooked Sheriff Hege's goose in Davidson County years ago?

Is Teeters the same Chief who won't even answer yes or no to a request to use the City's oldest fire truck to lead the Greensboro Bicentenial Torch Relay?
Just wondering, that's all.

Wow, now the idiots go from wanting to fire the city manager in order to cover up the fact that his reckless disregard for the law has been covered up by men who are to protect the citizens. Seems to me that Johnny Teeters has a better raport with his men than does the city manager with his council when two members expose the corruption. As long as a government employee does not use his men on government time or pay them on government time for personal duties, then he is not in the wrong.
Do one thing at a time. Get rid of Mitch since he is covering up a major obstruction of fraud by extortion that exists within the police department, as known by Linda Miles and current chief Bellamy. Johnny Teeters has ethics, Mitch does not since he falls into a different onion patch.
Johnny goes to the fires that effect persons lives, whereas, Mitch does not. Think about that. Mitch's crew retire, but yet are paid on government time to come back into the quagmire of filth that the city council breeds, and the other leaves to pick up drunk driving charges on government time as an attorney. UM, seems something is wrong with this picture. An honest chief is forced out of a job and then slandered, blackmailed, and libeled in order for the real criminals that have been put back into a job to neglect the public in their duties as sworn to under oath.
I don't recall that the fire department takes an oath to decided not to put out fires since they don't get pay raises. Johnny hasn't forced anyone to help him do outside work. It seems to me he obviously has some men who have talents to do other things in their off time. Why not fire them if your're going to start this crap about getting rid of Johnny Teeters. I would hate to think that my son held hostage is ignored because the police department is controlled by a set of corrupt attorneys in order to cover up the fraud committed by officers sworn to uphold the law as officers of the law. Seems to me that when the abuse of process was reported and fraud to internal affairs detectives, Brian James and James Fulmore about fraud by extortion using the police detective E. L. Cuthbertson, a dirty cop, if you will by the Hatfield's, that no investigation or even return phone calls were made by those who continue to allow a life to suffer at the hands of a sexual pedophile and pervert controlled by Kitty Hatfield to get at me and my family. I think that the garbage started by Mitch now, needs to be taken to the landfill, and first things first, get rid of Mitch, the police chief, and those officers who are conspirators in a case involving endangerment to life that the police department allows. Not to worry, what they haven't done right, from the top down, will be taken care of in a federal suit. Stop your bitchin' and get rid of Mitch and attorney Mike Barber who gets rid of people if they're not liked. Is that the situation with Johnny Teeters, Mike Barber? Isn't that your mentality or are you jealous since no one goes to the aid of Mitch to help him do anything. I hope Johnny does what is right and takes the city council to the cleaners if they pull their dirty antics on him. What appears to be the problem is that reputable persons are fired or locked out of their offices when it comes to retirement time. Is that what the problem is? Has the city run out of money in order to pay employees what they are due when it comes time for them to enjoy their twilight years? I don't recall that Johnny ever told his men not to go to a fire when called. I don't recall reading that any of the city fire fighters are caught in fire trucks screwing fellow fire fighters like police officers on duty who are charged with sexual assault on a fellow police officer for which that should have been tried by now. Vengance is the Lord's, he will repay what the enemy has done to hurt innocent lives. Before you throw the next stones, I suggest that you look at the truth, and if you or anyone else, Mitch Johnson and his conspirators who cover up crimes within the city as clearly documented and are being addressed by federal suit, are without sin or blemish, then go ahead and cast your stones. Just be careful who you chose to judge, lest you be judged by the same measure you meet out to others.
