The owner of the car gets a nice DOT/Highway Patrol letter sent to them reporting the incident and advising them of the fines if they are caught by the Law.

For all you kids out there who got chewed by your parents because I reported you, I hope you got a good lesson learned out of it, especially the high school kid driving his parent's SUV who dumped McDonald's cups, bags, and burger wrappers on Battleground ave. last fall.

from my observations i couldn't blame the mexicans for all the trash. i seen an awful lot of anglos, blacks and everything in between use the highways as their personal garbage can. marys idea of carrying a plastic bag is one great way to avoid throwing trash out the window, i've been doing it for years.
three things i've noticed since i've moved to nc.
1) a lot of people tailgate (regardless if you're going 10 over)
2) a lot of people throw trash out of their cars
3) a lot of people don't use their courtesy sticks (i.e. turn signals)
ok, i'm ready for the "you're hatin' n.carolinians" tongue lashings.

Also, I've driven in Ohio, Michigan, SC, Colorado, Ca. Fl. Nevada, etc, etc, etc. It's my observation people drive pretty much the same all over the country. They'll cut you off in Boston just as quickly as in G'boro or Savannah. You yankees are just lookin' for something to bitch about. :-]

your post prior to that comment seems to display some logic. i was simply participating in this discussion and was not bit@#ing but was making an observation. but i did say in my first post that i was ready for the tongue lashings - so for that i am not too disappointed in you. poor upbring is probably the root cause here...what the kids see mama & pa do, they're gonna do also.

i have not sided with anyone here and if i did agree with neo on some issues that would not cause me to be a racist or bigot.
but imo you are one of the most bigoted posters on these blogs - you are not necessarily intolerant of race or culture but you are very intolerant of others who choose to disagree with you and you philosophy and religious leanings. but then again everyone is bigoted to some extent.
