Crazy like a Fox?

If I were an Iraq/Afghanistan veteran, I’d be picketing Fox News trucks, calling them traitors. But I’m a Vietnam veteran and don’t get around much anymore.

How dare you attack FoxNEWS!!

To attack FoxNEWS is to attack America, mom and the baby Jesus!

If FoxNEWS wasn't up and running, where would all the "conservatives" get their talking points??!!

My favorite FoxNEWS story was just this past week. The talking heads were discussing the Lincoln/Douglas debates. They had a graphic with pictures of Abe Lincoln and ....drumroll please......FREDERICK DOUGLAS!!
Not Stephen Douglas, but the anti slavery activist.
Well, at least they didn't have Michael Douglas, Kirk Douglas, or Buster Douglas up there.

FauxNEWS is just another arm of the Republican party---for that they don't even apologize. I'll give them points for that--they don't deny they are right wingers.

Frederick Douglas....lol!!

Out of curiosity, since when did faux, pronounced \ˈfō\ begin to sound like fox, pronounced \ˈfäks\

Good call on Fox news though. Of course, CNN isn't much better.

I wish the writer gave me more to go on but why would he be picketing Fox News?

Earnestine,

Just general principles. Since when does something that people have to say or do have to have anything to do with logic? That's why it's a letter to the editor. It's just an opinion.

Bish,
Who said ANYTHING about the pronunciation? It is the fact that their stories are FAUX....as in fake! And some call them FoxNoise channel, and that has nothing to do with pronunciation either. Sheesh!

I get a huge kick out of listening to these "dumbed down" infotainment shows that FauxNewsChannel airs. Bill O'Reilly is one kinky, bloviating windbag. Then you have Hannity, who is not very deep, and can't stand to be challenged. He has Alan Colmes who is no "Liberal" but rather like the Washington Generals to Hannity's Globetrotters. Hannity wouldn't last three minutes with Bill Maher, or Jon Stewart---after all, they are all comedians.

Watching O'Reilly interview Hillary right at this moment. Obama is too afraid to come on. Kudos to Hillary.

Today marks FIVE years since
George W. Bush
declared "MISSION ACCOMPLISHED".
Like many of you, I grieve for the families of the 3900+ who have died since Bush made that declaration.

To see that there are STILL people who think our President has done a good job or is a good president, is astounding. As Dr. Phil would say, "I'm stupefied"!

Note to Danny:
Hillary made O'Reilly the last person on her rounds of the talk shows. While he was behind Olbermann, ABC, CBS, and NBC, he touted HIS interview as an "EXCLUSIVE". Obviously it worked, as you swallowed it hook, line and sinker.

Hint: FoxNews depends on your demographic--but of course I've made that point many times.
