Reasons for leaving
TIMCO has nothing to complain about, even if Honda were “pirating” employees. As they are not competitors, what law is broken?
Instead of giving lawyers money, TIMCO should address the two major reasons that valued employees would leave: money and work environment.
If TIMCO needs them so badly, they’ll stay with better pay and a great place to work. That’s human resources 101, Mr. Cawthron.

Wasn't TIMCO the company that, a few short years ago, threw many many good folks out on their ears while the CEO threw onto his expense account million dollar birthday parties for his wife?

You nailed this one. Of course TIMCO will plead for another subsidy--corporate welfare, because they are losing employees.
Funny how the righties don't ever see corporate welfare as wrong, but they can pile on real people with real problems, never once wanting to give them a hand.

If TIMCO flounders, it's good news for Fed Ex who can buy them cheap and have a maintenance facility at the same airport as their hub.

Any of you guys remember when TIMCO got busted a few years ago for hiring illegal aliens? Not just to sweep up the place, mind you, but as mechanics for the jetliners. Here's the link if you don't remember (story is on right side of web page):

Mr. Calthron apparently won't ask any questions about how his people find skilled employees who work cheap, but has a problem hiring people with the same citizenship priviledges as himself at competitive US wages. I hope he gets canned from TIMCO and replaced by a responsible executive. If TIMCO is bound to be led by someone of Mr. Calthron's ilk, let them pack up and high-tail it to some location where there aren't any good companies compete with.
