A multiple-choice quiz for potential voters
As a citizen of the Divided States of America who is concerned with our march toward socialism, I have a short quiz for potential voters.

ya know Tony, you'd be a more useful member of society if you would hang with a thread long enough to discuss things. Others have that courtesy, but all you have done is regurigate bile [like the above] then dissapear - only to peeve in some later thread - again briefly and again without much basis beyond partison tripe.

So here ya go Tony .. discuss this:

a) Joseph Stalin b) Karl Marx c) Barack Obama

Someone help me out, please. Four years ago, when I and others were bashing the Republican candidate, we were chastised by the apparently more "ethical" posters for being Bush-bashers, rather than Kerry supporters. The expectation set at that time was that these more refined, dignified individuals were above the practice of merely tearing down a candidate, but were so sophisticated that they only touted the benefits of their candidate. So where are these people now? I only see criticism of Obama, and virtually no defense of McCain. Surely these people have not disappeared -- I recognize some of their names. Could it be that they are hypocrites? If not, when can we expect the praising of McCain to begin?

What a gaping wound you have found for your salt, Tony...

What a surprise, the same "usual suspects" who attack neglect to point out the fallacies in any of my statements/questions.
The drought was a proven fact, global warming is anything but!

I answered all those questions correctly, and don't have a problem with the answers to any of them. My annoyance at the childishly simple or deceptive nature of their wording, as rahrah has already noted, is another matter altogether.

When I read Mr. Moschetti’s letter, I immediately thought of Scott McClellan’s book. It seems that Mr. Moschetti possesses a lot of the traits that McClellan lays bare about the Bush White House: 1. Convinces himself/herself to believe what suits his or her needs at the moment. 2. Engages in self-deception to justify his or her political ends. 3. Commits serious strategic blunders. 4. Turns away from candor and honesty when those qualities are most needed. 5. Spends a lot of time in denial. 6. Operates on permanent campaign mentality. 7. Keeps hands clean and comes out looking like a star.
I also noted that Mr. Moschetti used the term “socialism.” He uses it in much the same way that McCarthy used “communism.” Mr. Moschetti also talks about Obama’s willingness to meet with the leader of Iran. Be careful, Mr. Moschetti, there is a good chance that the gas that you are using came from a country where there is no benevolent head of state. But, that won’t stop you from driving. Also, what are the odds that you will throw away any “made in China” item that you have in your home? We know that China is not great when it comes to human rights. Saudi Arabia is another country that doesn’t have a great track record on human rights.
Mr. Moschetti, whether you like it or not, this country is changing. The world doesn’t end at the USA’s borders with Mexico and Canada. I believe that you share the same isolationist thoughts of Woodrow Wilson.
