Clinton failed first time to improve health care
I was very amused by the letter saying Hillary Clinton would be the best vice-presidential choice because of her experience in health care. Hillary had her chance with health care and it was a total fiasco! Of course, Democrats don’t let facts stand in the way of their drivel.
Hillary is very popular? Hillary has good standing in the Senate? You have to be there and work to have that. Go get another set of unproven, ill-supported comedy material and tell us how Hussein O’Nuthin has a long record of experience at anything for any reason in any country anywhere.

Marilyn,
you have just shown that ignorance is bliss. I'm glad to see that you think that things are going along so well, that voting for another 4 years of Bush's failed policies is the right thing to do.
Next time you want to send a letter to the editor, please engage your brain before you put your proverbial mouth in gear.

mikeg,
I didn't see anything in Ms. Gideon's letter that said that she thought things were gong well, so you made that one up and brought Bush into it with your BDS. And, her letter was accurate that Hillary made an absolute mess of her attempt at nationalizing our health care. Putting her back in charge of it would be ludicrous.
I think that you owe her an apology. You were the one that didn't engage your brain before opening your political mouth.

It's nice of the N&R to publish letters from grade-schoolers.

I'm not a Hillary fan by any means but I do give her credit for her tenacity.
I'm not an Obama fan by any means but calling him Hussein O'Nuthin is juvenile.
Obama would be crazy to pick Hillary as VP, it would set up the country's first 3 president White House as Bill and Hillary would be trying to run the show.

ORR, it's clear that you have no sense of reality either .While one may not like Hillary Clinton, to attack her performance in congress by stating that she was not there, is the comment of an ignoramus. she has done a fine job representing the interests of her constituents, which is certainly a helluva lot mre that we can say about our non-representative, Liddy Dole. Since Hillary's heatlh care propoasal didn't even see the light of day during Bill's tenure as president, it's also a bit presumptuous to attack it as having made a fiasco of things. the only thing that is ludicous here is your "head in the sand" right wing attack over any thing that is not a canned neo-con opinion.
as far as Hilary as a running mate, I too would not choose her as I too, would not want Bill hovering.
