Holliday has support of local attorneys

Tabatha Holliday’s legal experience far exceeds six years as a practicing attorney. It includes nine years as a clerk of court and a paralegal. She has worked her way through the system and impressed many people. This is more and more evident by the level of support she has received in this community. She has experience in each of the courts. Tabatha has the advantage over her opponent of serving this community as a defense attorney and a prosecutor. She has the ability to relate to both sides easily and without reservation.

There is a reason that Tabatha Holliday has received the support of many of the attorneys in Guilford County. These attorneys are the ones who practice in District Court every day. If it is better to keep her opponent on the bench, why has Tabatha Holliday raised six times the amount of funds as her opponent (the incumbent, Sue Burch), “much of it from local attorneys” (News & Record, Oct. 13)?

Just because a person has been a judge in the past does not make him or her the best candidate. Citizens of Guilford County, don’t accept the status quo. Vote Tabatha Holliday, District Court judge.

I would be very wary of a Judge who had taken money from the attorneys she is going to preside over
