New paint, old house

I find the proposed Wall Street $700 billion bailout analogous to a homeowner with a known termite-infested house slapping a new coat of paint on the house and hoping to sell it to some unsuspecting (sucker) buyer. Thank you.

Same bailout as first time round, only with some pork and taxcuts stuck in to win over those up for election. Tax cuts are like that big screen tv in the family room. Throw that in with purchase of house, and who cares about termites?

I would add it's like slapping paint on your termite infested house and telling the painter to send the bill to your neighbor.
