Roosevelt’s life not relevant to election
I wonder what Teddy Roosevelt’s stance on abortion would have been?
If he had been against abortion, I wonder if he would have maintained that opposition even in the instance of rape and/or incest?
Would Teddy Roosevelt have opposed stem cell research?
Yes, Teddy Roosevelt did indeed love to hunt, but I am fairly certain he never shot wolves from helicopters.
He did wear the cutest little spectacles though, didn’t he?
Who am I? Someone who believes what Teddy Roosevelt did or did not do in 1900 is not particularly relevant in 2008!

Nor does she claim to be.
This has been the highlight of this election- an offhand remark by a third or fourth party, taken as a personal attribute, then derided by the other side.
BTW, Obama is no JFK.

Hey - I can duplicate myself it too, Ellis!
As one who has actually read a detailed biogtaphy of Theodore Roosevelt ..
In many ways, Sarah Palin is like Theodore Roosevelt: Teddy was a manipulative opportunist who got the WH on the death of the elected boss. Sarah has been shown to be a progressive by raising the sales tax in her little town by 25% and then again by imposing on Big Oil a wind-fall tax, also at 25%. They can/could both dress a moose.

As father of a houseful of children, I believe TR would be pro-life. As for rape, I'll bet he would be for hunting down the rapist and field dressing him like a moose--more just than killing the baby and slapping the criminal on the wrist, which has always seemed backwards to me.

Hey Ellis, I can copy too!!
She has no peers. Ooops! I was wrong there----George W. Bush is a moron too.
She can't name any magazines, newspapers etc that she reads regularly.
She can't even name a supreme court case other than Roe v. Wade. (Guess that homeschooling is working along with that abstinence only strategy)
She makes a total fool of herself in her Katie Couric interview to the point that a satirical sketch, using Palin's exact words, can slay an audience and have them doubled up in laughter.
Yeah, Ellis. You keep stacking deck chairs on the titanic.
"an offhand remark by a third or fourth party, taken as a personal attribute, then derided by the other side."
Yeah, that dog won't hunt now will it.
