Those nattering nabobs fill the letters columns
After reading the letters to the editor section for several weeks, I think Spiro Agnew described their contents accurately. In response to criticisms from his opponents, he referred to them as “nattering nabobs of negativity.” What a perfect description of our current political dialogue.
Change is an excellent theme for a political campaign. It will come after Nov. 4. Since Barack Obama has not identified his ideas on change beyond the traditional and/or revised progressive ideas, I see no reason to take his candidacy seriously.

And since McCain has not identified his ideas on change beyond a slavish adherence to Bushism I see no reason to take his candidacy seriously.

Kudos there, Rufus.
This is the lamest letter, but is indicative of who is supporting
McBush----The hardcore right wingers.
When one resorts to quoting Spiro T. Agnew, who was known as "Ted" by his friends, we know they are "GOP kool Ade" addicted.
This is really a lame attempt...at something...certainly not journalistic trophy material, so maybe an attempt to appear witty? Sad.
