America has changed, but not for the better
The America we knew and loved changed forever Nov. 4, and not for the better.
We have always had the good sense to reject extremely liberal candidates (McGovern, Mondale, Dukakis, Gore and Kerry), but thanks in large part to a corrupt, dishonest, partisan media, we elected someone further left than any candidate in modern history, and someone we know little about, thanks to his media protectors.
No white candidate, who began his political career in the home of an abortion clinic bomber who never said he’s sorry, or served on a board with an “esteemed” college professor who espoused white nationalism in public schools, or spent 20 years in a white supremacist church where hatred for blacks, Jews and his own country was preached, would be tolerated as a candidate!
When asked about his preacher, he says he had no knowledge of any of it. When asked how this was possible, he replied, “What can I tell you?”
Would this media that obsessed for a week over Palin’s wardrobe, and tried to destroy Joe the plumber for merely asking their “Chosen One” a question, gloss over this candidate’s past associations, saying they’re not significant? Never! Are “re-education” camps next!

Tony, you mean the media that was complicit in hiding crucial knowledge, like this:

from the general populace?
I mean, a VP candidate doesn't know that Africa is a continent...or the nations in NAFTA...I'm thinking we dodged a bullet.

You properly do not have a clue, it for sure you did not read it in the liberal papers that the liberals control in NC. No JR I not reporting to the cotton fields, however I read were one of Obama liberal professors want him to nationalize my 401 k. You can check this out on Teresa Ghilarducci website. What you want see on it is what she said on air america, some time ago. We can take the money and give good retirement plans to the poor and illegals.Palin is the most honest person in government, that way they post things like Palin does porn movies.

In a state that is all Oil and no People, my dog could have Alaska in the Black .. especially after she put through that windfall profits tax.

To use a quote that all you now whiners used in 2004, with only slight variation, "Obama won. Get over it."

This letter is a little over the top but there is some truth to it. There is a double standard in this country that demonizes white folks (and they probably should be) for things that others get a pass on.
I believe the Democrats could have ran just about anybody and won the election. That's how bad people wanted change from the current president.

Look on the bright side Tony.
After January, when things don't go your way, you can always say it's cause the black man is keeping you down.

YESTERDAY . . .
At 12:35 p.m., several women with children entered Total Beauty Supply.
Police described the first suspect as a 21-year-old black woman who stands 5-foot-7 and weighs 180 pounds. She has a pierced lower lip or chin and might go by the name Tiara. Police said the second suspect is a thin black woman who stands 5-foot-5 and weighs 130 pounds.
At 4:20 p.m., a woman entered A's Beauty Supply, grabbed some merchandise and left without paying. When a store employee chased the suspect to a green four-door vehicle, the suspect sprayed the clerk with mace, then drove away with a second woman.
Police described the suspect in this case as a short black woman in her early 20s who has a medium build and medium curly hair. She wore a black jacket with a fur-lined hood, a light-colored shirt and blue jeans. Police did not have a description of the second woman in the vehicle.
At 1:55 a.m., Greensboro police said the men, wearing bandanas and carrying handguns, entered the store at 3700 Groometown Road and demanded money. They fled with an undisclosed amount of cash.
Police described the suspects as two black men between ages 18 and 24. The first suspect stands about 6-foot-1 and weighs 185 to 200 pounds. He wore blue jeans, black tennis shoes and a dark blue hooded sweatshirt with a blue shirt underneath. He carried a pistol.
The second suspect stands about 5-foot-11 and weighs between 180 and 195 pounds. He wore blue jeans, black tennis shoes and a black hooded sweatshirt with a red shirt underneath. He carried a black backpack and a shotgun.
At 9:20 p.m., police said Maurice Williams, a Domino's Pizza employee, was making a delivery to 1201 Victoria St. when three people approached him. One of the suspects was carrying a rifle. Williams dropped his pizzas but grabbed the rifle away from the suspect. As the three suspects fled, one grabbed the pizza bag. Williams was not hurt.
Police described the first suspect as a black youth who is 16 or 17 years old. He stands 5-foot-5, weighs 135 pounds and has a medium complexion. He wore dark pants, a multi-colored polo-style shirt with wide and thin stripes. The other two suspects are black men who are 18 or 19 years old and weigh between 180 and 200 pounds. They wore ski masks with eye and mouth holes and dark clothing.

Tony, you dinosaur. Things have changed for the better, but I'm not surprised you cannot see (or will not acknowledge) the rejection of fear mongering. You keep scratching around in that sandbox, we are moving on.

You're right, Tonymo.
And I thought the re-election of slick willie was a low water mark.

"No white candidate, who began his political career in the home of..."
If a Democratic presidential candidate had chosen a woman with a pregnant unwed teenaged daughter as the VP, the right would have passed out from hyperventilating and yelling.

White sumpremist and the KKK, many "white people" (mostly Southern Republicans) still think they are better than everyone else, particulary Christians who are going to heaven unlike everyone else and those so caught up on being "The World Power" . My God and Jesus love everyone the same, period. They are for peace and not for killing whether it be by abortion or war, terrorists acts etc. Killing is killing, hatred is hatred and the bible doesnt stand for it. It actually says those that have everything will have a harder time getting to heaven than those that have nothing. Sorry Wall street and the 1% of Americans that have all of the wealth! Call yourselves Christians because you believe in Jesus but Jesus loved the weak and poor the most! Have a good time in Pergatory!

“The America we knew and loved changed forever Nov. 4, and not for the better.” If by “we,” Mr. Moschetti means angry white males who listen to Rush Limbaugh, I guess that he is correct in his comment. Or he could mean those who think like Pat Buchanan and share in his belief that white males are getting the short end of the stick. Paul Krugman’s recent column spoke about the Republican Party being the party of intolerance. Truer words have never been spoken and Mr. Moschetti is living proof of that. Moschetti’s reminiscing of times past reminds me of Sen. Helms’ waxing romantic about his days of growing up in the Jim Crow era of Monroe.

One of the best things about Obama becoming President will be watching T-Bone Moschetti cry, stomp his feet, and shake his tiny fists in impotent rage for 4 years.
And that makes me smile.

Hey Tony, as people have said when someone says North Carolina is a hole..."If you don't like it, MOVE." The same goes for all of you who are so small-minded you won't even give the man a chance just because he is "tanner" (as the Italian president called him) than others.
As Yvonne said..."Get over it."

We live in a democracy. What happened on November 4 was democratic. If individuals feel slighted or unhappy with the results, they are free to seek admittance into a country that is not democratic.
For those of us that stay, however, we should all fall in line behind our President. The democratically elected Presedent whose position was given to him by we the people.
Wait until he gets in office and does some stuff. When he does things wrong or in a manner in which you diagree, then feel free to criticise him to your heart's content and mount or join any type of political opposition in order to remove him in 2012.
Until then, however your personal feelings about him may be, take solace in the fact that democracy works, and that the will of the people (not the will of the person) carried the day on 11/4.
If we elected a lemon, then we simply have to take our lumps. That is the nature of a democratic republic.

I should have said "favors the poor". Sorry. He does love everyone the same. Here is a sampling of how God feels about the rich and the poor....there are over 300 but I will list a few..
Blessed are you who are poor, for yours in the kingdom of God. Blessed are you who hunger now, for you shall be satisfied. Blessed are you who weep now, for you shall laugh. Blessed are you when men hate you, and ostracize you, and insult you, and scorn your name as evil, for the sake of the son of man.-Luke 6:20-22
A faithful man will abound with blessings, but whoever hastens to be rich will not go unpunished. -Proverbs 28:20
And having opened His mouth He went to teaching them, saying, Spiritually prosperous are the destitute and helpless in the realm of the spirit, because theirs is the kingdom of heaven.”–Matthew 5:3

Give it a rest. The election is over! Put your support behind our president-elect regardless of how you voted. He'll need all of our support to fix this financial mess we are in.

"We live in a democracy"
No sir we do not.
"That is the nature of a democratic republic."
That is an oxymoron.
We live in a constitutional republic. The differences between this and a democracy are profound.
Read Federalist 10 or if the queens english is too difficult to understand just spend some time on the web investigating the differences.
Don't feel bad though justsomedude. Most people in the US especially those educated in government schools think the US is a democracy too.

Neocon.don't believe for a second that this was only school administration in NC favoring a presidential candidate. My kids were called "terrorists" by other children for being one of the few supporting Obama . The McCain supporting teachers did nothing. In the last 2 days since the election, teachers have openly told negative "jokes" about Obama and one child even threw something at my daughter...oh, and someone removed my Catholic School magnet that was next to my Obama magnet...it goes both ways and it is rediculous no matter which side is acting this way...

Yeah! They be "wildin' out" !!!
Truer words have never been typed about this than what you said.
Thank you.

Thanks for thinking about me, JC. I'll try ever so hard not to feel bad, and I'll know in the future to put more confidence in random guys on the internet than I do schools.
Posted on November 7, 2008 11:24 AM
Okay, I've finished laughing now. I promise to fall in and get behind Obama just as enthusiastically as you leftist lunatics have fallen in, and gotten behind and supported Bush! I also promise to "get over it" just exactly as you same loons have gotten over the previous two elections!
I'm not in the least bit surprised that not one of you good folks actually said anything about the main premise, would any white candidate.......!
Let's hear what you think about that.
Posted on November 7, 2008 11:33 AM
Tonymo-I voted for Bush both times..I have repented but don't count me in on someone who didn't support him in the beggining. I think everyone deserves a chance and respect, especially our president. And the far right should know that God says to treat others as you want to be treated not to treat others as they have treated you.
Sorry-don't understand your last paragraph.
Posted on November 7, 2008 11:54 AM
Just had time to watch your video, Neo...sorry but I couldn't see any browbeating...Teacher obviously supports Obama...guess that is not acceptable and shows poor judgment...btw...who shot the film? She obviously knew she was being filmed.
Posted on November 7, 2008 12:32 PM
tonymo, first of all, as one of your loony leftist lunatic demorats, I gave Bush more than my fair share of support, especially after 9/11. I lost a nephew on that day, but like most Americans, I felt a great sense of patriotism when we went into Afghanistan. But then Bush lost his mind and attacked Iraq, and when it was determined that it was all a scam, the patriotic bumper stickers flew off the cars as if they had the plague.
Add to that the rest of the mess he's made, and do you really think Bush still deserves anything more than a good riddance?
So here's my answer to your stupid question: nobody could possibly know what would have happened if a white candidate did all, or any of the things that seemed to have ruffled your feathers. Now try to get with the new program.
Posted on November 7, 2008 2:39 PM
[Harris addresses Cathy] Talk, cause yo daddy in the military. Talk. It’s a senseless war! And by the way, Cathy, the person that you’re picking for president said that our troops could stay in Iraq for another hundred years if they need to!
[Camera pans to Cathy, in near tears.]
Harris: So that means that your daddy could stay in the military for another hundred years!
Ms. Dunn, I* suppose you could call this 'teaching'... if your mind is right.
This government battle axe presents a pretty formidable figure when confronting 12 year old girls who are a captive audience for her liberal sewage.

Garbage all the way. I think it may be better to have video cams, and keep this trash off the blogg site.
Posted on November 7, 2008 6:02 PM
This typical letter from Tonymo certainly gives buttress to the fact McCain carried the "uneducated white male" demographic.
Not only is this letter despicable, but showcases the ignorance that permeates what is left of the Republican Party.
As the comedian said, "You just can't fix stupid".

Could we please have some intelligent dialogue here? Rants and name calling are not going to solve the problems we face no matter who is in office.
