There’s still demand for Boar and Castle Sauce

This is a plea to any member of the James and Evelyn Ennis family. I believe I am correct that your family was the producer of Boar and Castle Sauce. Along with many others, my family loves this sauce and does not want to see it disappear from existence.

If you want to sell the recipe and/ or business, please place a reply in the News & Record or contact them for my number. My son-in-law is an Air Force pilot in Alaska.

His request for Christmas was another case of Boar and Castle Sauce like I sent last year. I don’t want to disappoint him.

Donna, a sweet friend gave us a bottle of Boar and Castle sauce a few weeks ago. She said she bought it at the large store formerly known as "Tobacco USA." It is out on West Market Street in the shopping center on the right just past the intersection of West Market and Holden Road. The address is 3900-H West Market Street, and the phone number in the phone book for "Tobacco USA" is still good for reaching the store.

Wow, that Boar and Castle sauce sure does bring back memories, and it's delicious to boot. The bottle my friend gave us lasted less than a week. Hmmmmm GOOD!

Hi Donna,

The Carolina Sauce Company online store has plenty of Castle Sauce in stock, and we'd be happy to ship a case to your son-in-law. You can order securely online, and we don't have a minimum order size (you can even get just 1 bottle if that's all you want). If you buy Castle Sauce by the case (12 bottles to a case), we'll give you 10% off the product price if you use the coupon code "castlecase" (without the quotation marks). Here's the link to the page for Castle Sauce where you can place an order:

Feel free to give us a call at 919-286-1080 if you have questions or prefer to order by phone.
Thanks!
