I didn’t support Obama, but I will pray for him
We wonder what will happen when the president-elect takes office. Many are thrilled that an African American is elected. Many are upset that an African American is elected. Get over it. He’s both, so that should satisfy the racists from both sides.
Many voted for Barack Obama because he was black. Many voted for John McCain because he was white. Shame on you. Many voted the first time because of race. You should not have been allowed.
If color is all that took Obama to the White House, we’re in trouble. I pray the presidency is more than color!
Did I vote for Obama? No! Truthfully, I could not vote for anyone who will not honor this country or flag. Should you not honor it, you should not be allowed to live here or hold office. If this nation is so distasteful, then return to your roots, wherever they may be.
My opinion does not release me from an obligation to pray for Obama. Would the past eight years have been different if we’d all spent more time praying for our leaders? Points to ponder as the new year begins!

I did not vote for him, he has my 100% support.
This is my country no matter whose president.

It's not His color, lack of honor, or even His drug use, It's His Kenyan birth, Muslim upbringing, and lack of US citizenship that I have problems with.

Good to see that you're coming around Neo!
"If color is all that took Obama to the White House, we’re in trouble. I pray the presidency is more than color!"
It might be more than coincidence that the first 43 presidents were white males.

A wrap up on last year's news:

Woops, Obama was born in Hawaii and the last time I looked that is a state in the United States, Muslim upbringing???? there goes that holier than thou attitude again! I guess y'all just can't stand to think that there might be someone other than a christian in the white house, which wouldn't really be a bad thing, look at what a mess we are in due to white christians being in the white house for over 200 years. Lack of US citizenship, once again Hawaii is a state.
Because Obama sees much in a more realistic light than many of the former presidents did, does not make him someone who does not honor this country or it's flag, on the contrary I think he has nothing but the country's best interest at heart. Give the man a chance before you strip him of his dignity.

... "anyone who will not won't honor this country or flag"
Can someone explain to me what this means? What did Obama do?
I voted for Hillary in the primaries - I guess that makes me anti-black male and anti-white male? I once did a write-in-vote for my mother when presented with candidates whose platforms I couldn't support. Oh gosh, do you think because I pay attention to platforms and issues and facts that I'm stereotype-challenged? Oh, please pray for me!
ps- Dan - loved the video clip; I paid good money to see the Capitol Steps and Uncle Jay was better!

neocon,
Yesterday on another thread, your reply to my post was; "new-sense, if the Big Messiah told me to shut up, I'd heed his advice. Perhaps He doesn't take too kindly to you for some reason...are you agnostic or atheist?"
Actually, I'm an ex-Catholic for many reasons that we won't get into here, and have given up organized religion a long time ago.
But the next time I talk to Him, I'll ask how he feels about me.

Wonder what Linda's been Smoaking? Having lifted herself above the level of all those racists out there who voted for the wrong reason, alas, Ms. Smoak's own higher calling in voting against Obama was based on some easily and often disproven trash that floated around the internet last year about his patriotism and attitude concerning our flag. Woops!
Its that kind of powerful political thinking that almost gives racists a strong platform in comparison.

"It might be more than coincidence that the first 43 presidents were white males." Truer words were never spoken!

"It's His Kenyan birth, Muslim upbringing, and lack of US citizenship that I have problems with."
I have seen factual inaccuracies, if not outright lies, on these forum threads before. This is probably a record for the number I have seen in a sentence of less than 20 words, though.

Fem, et al....remember... you can't fix stupid.
I have never seen such hatred and criticism of a President before he took office, even letters complaining because students are going to be allowed to watch the inauguration. Wonder what we will see after Jan 20...

This is not what I said and apparently you fail to understand my post.
Nuff said...
The little messiah's grandmother in Kenya has stated she was in attendance when The One was delivered unto us in that country. (at least that is what she said before she was apparently told to keep her mouth shut) With the democratic machine maintaining it's stranglehold on Hawaii, it's no great leap to believe there were(are) some shenanigans going on with Little Barry's BC. It would be no problem at all to produce a BC and place the name of Mr. Spock and list the birthplace as 'The Planet Vulcan' on it if the stakes were high enough. I have seen no "proof" that makes me think The One's grandmother is a liar.
You libs have what you want...a majority in both houses and the presidency. Almost time to start shifting the blame to the republican 'obstructionists' every time the little messiah stumbles over his feet. I truly fear for the safety of the country. I hope I'm wrong.

You are!

Neo,
Not nuff said.
I copied and pasted your quote from yesterday. Go back and check your own reply. See, it has quote marks around it.
You go beyond ignorant, if that's possible.

Neo,
I just heard from the 'Big Messiah' and he said, "shut up already!"

***********************************************************
This means to me that "the 'Big Messiah' is speaking to you and telling YOU to "shut up already". While I'd never hold myself up as a grammar whiz (far from it) I'd hope a 3rd grader would be able to grasp this...even one who is a captive in our public zoo system. Your inability to understand what you said is no fault of mine. I'll credit it to the government run education system.
I won't stoop to your level and retaliate for your personal insulting remark that is so typical of the left...the 'oh so tolerant' left. I will say this: What little respect I had for you is gone. You have descended to the level of THE LIBERAL CANADIAN..."if that's possible". Good evening to you sir/mam, whatever the case may be.

Neo,
You should seek counseling asap. Your anger is obvious. We appreciate your perspectives but you need some help before you do something destructive.

cRock-o-...feller, any regrets for being led to the alter...er...uh... voting booth by the affirmative action general yet? So far so good? Happy with the 90s dredged up recycles so far? The biggest 'change' I've seen so far is tail gunner Joe has more hair than he used to.
Good Golly Ms. Molly!, don't quit your day job and take up virtual diagnosis. I'm not angry dear. Just concerned that the free world is about to be led by a man who is constitutionally unfit to serve as president and the limpdi***s in congress are just fine and dandy with that, as long as he will advance their socialist agendas.
I had high hopes that the great experiment in democracy and capitalism that the founders started would end with a bang, but it will evidently end with a sham of a presidency of one who will lead willing sheep down the road to socialism...pity.

Funny I never see such advice directed towards the infamous Demon Deacon (aka The Liberal Conservative). He is absent recently but a contributor to some of the most angry, insulting posts over the years. The only blogger to receive a warning from the N&R. I'll cut Molly some slack, he's a newbie, but never have any of the oldies posted such advice towards one of their own nor should they.
Demon Deacon has also suggested in times past that I seek counseling. Frankly I find it arrogant for anyone to suggest that someone they don't know personally seek counseling. You should be ashamed Molly.

Interesting news from the vast right wing MSNBC. Seems Harry Reid doesn't want Mr. Roland Burris of IL to have a seat in the Senate. He calls the appointment "tainted". Hmmm, tainted by Chicago politics. Meanwhile Mr. Burris shows up in DC ready to serve. This is getting more entertaining by the day.

Blagojevich isn't going away. The man is pissed and will drag anyone down that he can, including the President-elect. If anyone wants to suggest counseling, perhaps it should be suggested for the IL governor.
Meanwhile Richardson pulls out of his slot with his own cloud over the head.
Ok chime in apologists :)

If a person can be saved from a destructive act with by act of arrogance, then so be it. I do not care about my reputation or my image. I did not know there was a Ms. Manner's approach to this.
