Spend-happy clowns may tax breathing next
Here we go again! The spend-happy clowns in Raleigh have found something else to tax — the miles we drive. What’s next — the number of breaths we take?
And they’re thinking of determining the mileage by putting computers in the cars, and sending all our travel details to a government data base. Big brother strikes again. Think of the cost to do this. They’ll probably want us to buy the computers.
If these twits would expend as much energy trying to spend fewer taxpayers’ dollars as they expend looking for ways to rip us off, they’d solve any shortages they perceive.
There is, however, one new tax I’d support. Let’s have a tax on proposing new or higher taxes. Each time someone suggests a new tax, or a raise on an existing tax, he should be taxed an amount equal to one month of his income, and if his tax passes, tax him two months’ income — every year.

Geez maybe they are all trying to get us to move to other states to avoid such rediculous taxes.
Your idea of taxing a proposal is a good idea, if it has to come out of their pockets they might not be so quick to tax us to death.
Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.

We should let those clowns know that any politician that votes for this outrageous tax will promptly be kicked out of office in the next election.I would not be suprised to learn that they had plans to tax the air we breathe also!

Remember NC famous bridge to nowhere? ( not reported by liberal press)
I 40 had to have a 20 million dollar repair, just a few days after it was poured? ( made one small column in liberal press!
About I 795 at Goldsboro, state laid 51/4 inch of asphalt, required 15 inches. Needed $626,000 repair as soon as opened. Highway was not needed are wanted. Political payoff. Was ignored by liberal press. Want to jump all over this Mark Binker!
Them you must remember who elects these clowns.
I got about 15 more of these DOT frigg ups, you get the idea.

Please remember this idea was not a joke. The idea is not orginal thinking, its being considered elsewhere.
CONTACT YOUR NC REPRESENTATIVE! If we don't fuss about this they will put the mileage tax on us. Its easier to stop a tax than to reverse one.
