A pathetic change

Headline: “Obama reverses policy on abortion services.” Killing more babies in the womb. That is change you can believe in. How pathetic! Congratulations, America.

I mean, America voted. About 9,500,000 more for Obama than McCain. You can't say that we weren't warned or the issue wasn't discussed.

Makes me think that perhaps not everyone agrees with you, Mr. Lintz.

By the way, W.'s crew claimed a mandate with just a 3.3 million vote margin of victory. Anybody heard Obama and Co. do the same?

I could care less about abortion, I just do not want it paid for on taxpayers money.
Eric you are fighting a losing battle, read the about letter, liberals care more for the treatment of animals, than they do babies.
Liberals also care more about illegals than they do hard working middle class workers.
Under the simmulus plan( as of last week) illegals will get a check for ever. Middle class tax payers will get a tax credit fo either 18 or 24 months. Then the Bush tax cuts expire and they pay it back. Would our capital hill reporter want to handle this one? Maybe Kay Hagan?
With out spin!

Better to have the abortions than the population explosion, that we already have , how many more unwanted or not able to be cared for babies, would there be without abortion? I'm not crazy about our taxes paying for someone in another country to have an abortion, but America wants to be big brother to the rest of the world and tell them how they should live and believe, and when you take on that responsibility you also have to take on the financial responsibility.

I don't believe that liberals are more concerned with animals than humans, the above letter was just as concerned with the woman who committed the act as with the puppy.

I also don't believe that liberals care more about illegals, I am a liberal and I believe all illegals should be deported and stop the welfare for them.

You speak of the illegals and the middle class getting perks, what about the lower class? they are the ones that really suffer in this mess, they already can't afford most things that the middle class takes for granted, but yet I see no relief for them.

For TDBB : maybe you should proof read your comments before posting as I have read several of your posts that make no sense due to misspellings and improper word useage. I believe you meant to say the "above" letter not the "about" letter, in your most recent post.

Please tell me Eric, how the process that goes on in the WOMB of SOMEONE ELSE affects you?

"I just do not want it paid for on taxpayers money."

TDBB,

This is a legitimate complaint, and I might add, without judgment. Thank you. You should have stayed on that track as it is obvious you do not know what liberals think. You assume they think differently than you on all issues simply because they do on some.

I believe animals are animals and should not be treated like humans. They do deserve to be treated with kindness, however, if they are not threatening harm. But if it's a choice between the death of an outside the womb, functioning human and an animal, the animal will lose every time.

Also, like noname, I think all illegals should be deported. I resent my tax dollars supporting them more than helping some woman prevent adding another unwanted child into this world. Frankly, I resent taxes being spent to buy the alliance of other countries. Last time I checked, there were few countries we did not dole out borrowed money to.

Deal with realities, dog, rather than universally painting everyone with the same brush.

Dog, I would consider myself liberal, and I agree with noname and Yvonne. However, I do not consider myself a Democrat. There is a difference. All illegals need to go. I don't want my tax dollars supporting them either. I also don't want my tax dollars supporting other countries when we need it here.

I also think that while animals deserve kindness and respect, it's humans first. Every time. So long as the animal isn't a danger, things are fine.

And Eric, while you are looking down from your moral high-horse, don't get a nosebleed.

I've never met an animal I didn't like, too bad I can't say the same for humans.

I don't consider myself a Democrat either, but I am a liberal. altho I did vote for Obama because he was the best choice for the job, in my opinion, sure didn't want McCain/Palin in there and no one else had a snowballs chance in hell of winning.

BTW I like your page firerescuechick, at least somebody else will take the time to share a little about themselves and I think that your profession is a noble one. Thank you for all you do everyday. And no you shouldn't have to explain or justify your Wicca beliefs to anyone, be proud of what and who you are because you have the intelligence and guts to be different. My son is also Wicca, so I understand.

Daggum, Noname, you might want to check YOUR postings -- the correct word is "usage."

Illegal immigration, something many of us from varying political stripes have in common. There is a ray of hope.

Dog, you might say liberal politicians care more about illegals, but conservative politicians didn't do squat about illegals either. Remember when they tried to pass in bill in the dark of night regarding amnesty for illegals and the people spoke so loudly it was withdrawn?

That is an issue where both parties have ignored the majority of American people.

Dan,

Please don't equate GWB's Repubs with conservatives. The reason McCain only received 59,000,000 votes is because he was trending toward the middle much like the Dems. There isn't a $trillion worth of difference between the two statist parties.
True conservatives had no real voice in November. The greatest hope for conservatives is the coming debacle that liberals will drag America into.
I've said it before, and I'll say it now-
Arm yourselves- it's later than you think.

Point taken Ellis, thank you.

Agree with most of your post, WJ. However, I disagree on the reason for McCain's loss. I think Americans were fed up with the war, the economy (for which this administration was not entirely at fault, think Reaganomics as the start of the fall), and the arrogance of the Bush administration...at least those were some of my reasons. I also think Palin finished off any chance McCain had of winning.

Please give me your definition of a conservative. I truly want to know.
