Take off the blinders
The lies and deceit of our government are more clear and accessible than ever. The people are gaining new perspectives and coming to see the truth, that we basically have no representation on Capitol Hill. Please take off your blinders and see the people you represent. Give us national health care now.

Good letter until the last sentence.
Taxation without representation. Sounds familiar.

National health care is not taxation without representation. We are represented, even if some don't always like what they vote for.

I can see why you'd think I was saying national health care meant taxation without representation.
That's not what I meant, though.
There are a lot of ways we aren't being represented.
When a majority of Americans are begging for SOMETHING to be done about illegal immigration and neither party are doing anything, we aren't being represented.
When our "representatives" won't even have a full discussion on ways to remedy health care, we aren't being represented.
National health care does not equal representation. Discussing all avenues available is a little closer.

"When a majority of Americans are begging for SOMETHING to be done about illegal immigration and neither party are doing anything ... "
Oh I disagree, Truth. By destroying the American economy, moving America closer to third world status, America closer to the homelands status of illegal immigrants, our "representatives" are actually fighting illegal immigration.
See!?

So that's what they're doing? All this time, I thought they were inept morons.
In the words of Mr. Spock: "That appears logical, Jim".
