A bargain bites the dust
One deal I took full advantage of was the Subway sandwich Sub Club stamps.
So I was pretty annoyed to hear from co-worker Eric Townsend the fast-food franchise is stopping the program.
At the office, I'd invite some co-workers along for a walk to the Subway in downtown Greensboro.
I like they're company.
No, I'd insist, you order ahead of me.
Then I'd bum their stickers.
("Pssst. Are you going to use your stamps?")
Apparently, some of my co-workers just don't appreciate a bargain when they see one.
But I'll always...hold on...there's a bug in my eye or something...cherish those memories.
