Hey, I resem...I mean I resent that remark.
Creative scorekeeping aside, you also shouldn't be counting too high to pay for a round of golf in the Triad.
Here's some good deals on the weekends:
Indian Valley Golf Course in Burlington offers some of the best deals in the Triad. After 1 p.m., green fees are $22, which includes cart.
Tee times: 584-7871.
Lynrock Golf Club in Eden charges $26, which includes cart, during any part of the day on the weekends.
Tee times: 623-6110.
Bryan Park in Greensboro, not to mention being one of the nicest courses in the Triad, also offers a competitive deal on weekends.
It's only $25 with cart after 1 p.m.
Tee times: 375-2200, ext. 1.
Pleasant Ridge near Piedmont Triad International Airport charges $27 a round, which includes cart, regardless of what time you tee off on the weekends.
Tee times: 668-7107
So go ahead, save some money. Your inner child will thank you.
