Check out the "Taste of the Town" event featuring more than 50 restaurants.
It's Aug. 16 (Tuesday) from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the Showplace in High Point.
Admission is $5. You pay $1 for each sample, or what Taste of Town's organizers call an "appetized portion."
All proceeds benefit Hospice of the Piedmont.
