I scream for a cool deal
An ice cream maker for $10? Get out of here.
No, it's true.
The Web site Cheap Stingy Bastard notes Amazon.com is selling a Panasonic ice cream maker for $9.99 (regular $49.96).
It's received generally favorable reviews so far - four stars out of five stars among those who offered comments on Amazon.com.
One reviewer writes: "I got one of these a while back because it was cheap and...well, that's about the only reason. I figured it might be good for some fun with my daughter."
He concludes: "This ice cream maker does not require any advanced planning. All you do is drop the ingredients in the (room temperature is fine) bowl, snap it together, and put it in your freezer. That's it. A few hours later: Ice cream. And it's GOOD ice cream that's ready to eat!"
