A trick-or-treat interest deal
You know you want that super size TV, maybe throw in a side of surround sound.

"Darling. Light of my life. Give me the remote.
I won't ask again."
OK. Wipe the drool off your chin and back away from the store window. I may have just the deal.
Circuit City is one of several big-name retailers offering deferred interest plans. It means you get to buy your toys up front on plastic without paying interest.
That's the treat.
The trick, of course, is to pay off the balance in time. Otherwise the interest will come back to haunt you like some ax-wielding psychopath hoping to bash your wallet in.
Here's the deal: If you spend at least $499 on TVs and home audio using a Circuit City charge card, you pay no interest until 2008.
But you must pay off the balance in full by the date on your December 2007 statement or finance charges will be assessed from the date of purchase.
