Video game deals

Best Buy has some pretty good deals on video games.

Call of Duty 2, a WW2 first-person shooter game that has received solid reviews, is $39.99 for the Gamecube, Xbox and PS2. Regular $49.99. Still a chunk of change. But worth it.

Same with Battlefield 2, a modern-day, first-person shooter combat game I've played. Love it. Online play is just plain cool. That's also $39.99 at Best Buy.

I mention some other deals at Best Buy on my podcast GameBuzz, which you can listen to here using your portable mp3 player or your desktop. We also talk about a new car equipped with an Xbox 360. Just think of the possibilities.

What I'm talking about is CompUSA's sale on an Olevia 26-inch widescreen LCD HD-ready TV for $500 after mail-in rebate (regular $900).

Might be worth checking out at least because it's received pretty good customer reviews so far at CNET, a Web site that reviews products and prices.
