Save $1,000 on a plasma TV
Circuit City has a plasma TV on sale (close-out) for $2,000 (regular $3,000).
Price is the best I've seen so far for that model, at least when it comes to stores in the Triad area.
Customer reviews, at least the few so far at Amazon.com, are generally decent. But mixed elsewhere, both in customer and product reviews.

Cnet.com, a product review Web site, sums it up this way:
The good stuff: "Four independent picture memories for each input; decent color decoding; PC input."
The bad stuff: "Improper gamma and floating black levels negatively impact darker scenes; poor color resolution; only one HDMI input."
Cnet's bottom line: "Although slickly styled and competitively priced, the Samsung HP-R4252 plasma falls well short of its competitors' picture quality."
