Midnight madness
Dealcatcher.com reports CompUSA is having a "midnight madness" sale tonight from 6 p.m. to midnight.
One sale in particular caught my eye: A Compaq Presario notebook for $600 (regular $1,030), but only from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. Includes a DVD and CD burner, 512 MB RAM and 100 GB hard drive.
But there's a catch (isn't there always?) - you have to deal with the dreaded mail-in rebate stuff. So if you have the bucks up front and the patience to deal with mail-in rebates, this might turn out to be a pretty good deal.
