Trolling for deals

So my 15-year-old Diehard trolling motor finally died on me in the middle of Lake Brandt. Not that fishing buddy/co-worker Nate DeGraff and I really noticed. At a whopping 1-horsepower and 18-pounds of thrust, it barely mustered enough power to create a soft breeze, let alone a stiff breeze. So I cast my net for good bargains on trolling motors. Wound up reeling in a MotorGuide Thruster T34 at Wal-Mart this past weekend for $97. Has 34 pounds of thrust and a 5-speed. Don't know if this thing has a hemi. Checked other places in the Triad. The prices were pretty comparable at other stores, but Wal-Mart had a slight edge.
