A game that's getting killer reviews

The highly-anticipated video game BioShock is hitting the store shelves this week. Most places are selling it for $60 for the Xbox 360, but Circuit City has it on sale for $50. So is it worth it? I'd say yes, based on the demo of the game I played over the weekend.

Graphics are stunning. The intro. scene is flat-out cool and gets you right into the action. You're in an airplane when it crashes into the ocean near a failed underwater utopia. Lots of nasty, insane critters lurking about including giant beasts and small children who make the kiddies in Children of the Corn seem angelic.
Lots of weapons at your disposal. Some basic stuff like a wrench you can use to wack creatures upside the head. Or you can zap 'em with lighting bolts that shoot from your fingertips.
Good stuff.
A "masterpiece of madness," gushes Game Informer magazine, which gave the game its highest rating (10).
"The power to destroy has never been so varied and satisfying," according to the magazine's review of the game.
Cheers.
