Store Wars: Friendly Strikes Back

So a day after Alamance Crossing's big grand opening, we get a coupon mailer at our Greensboro home from Friendly Center and the Shops at Friendly Center.

Coupons including free Chick-fil-A Nuggets (8-count), 20-percent off some stuff at Great Outdoor Provision, $5 off at Friendly Pets (if you spend at least $30).

So remember kids, if a retailer or shopping center starts showering you with discounts, chances are there's a new kid on the block (or in the this case the region).

Ahhhh. The smell of competition. Gotta love it.

Well if there is anyone to keep me at a shopping center it is to give me a discount on Chic Fil A....gotta love that.

re: How we got 'em, we live in the northwest area of Greensboro, so not sure how Friendly's marketing folks had them distributed (city-wide or just by certain Zip codes). But keep checking your mailbox.
