Free dinner for vets
Golden Corral is once again serving a free meal for those who served our country.
As noted on the Take Stock blog, the Raleigh-based national restaurant chain is honoring soldiers with a free dinner and beverage at any of its restaurants including those in the Triad on Nov. 12 from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Golden Corral has donated 1.5 million meals and $1.9 million to the Disabled American Veterans since it began its annual free dinner program six years ago, according to its Web site.
