World's cheapest car
A company in India today unveiled a car that sells for $2,500.
Tata Motors makes the tiny four-door subcompact, which gets about 50 mpg. The company claims it can fit five people if they squeeze in, but I'll believe it when I see it.
Amenities are bare bones, too: no radio, no passenger-side mirror and only one windshield wiper. Oh, and A/C is extra.
It's only sold in India for now. The company hopes to export it.
