Business is brisk at local yard sales
Checked out about a half-dozen yard sales in Greensboro this morning. Business appears to be brisk. People trying to pinch pennies in tough economic times? Good excuse to go out and enjoy a bright, sunny (albeit a little on the chilly side) Saturday morning? Socialize? Bring home something you absolutely don't need?

Lots of people showed up at a community yard sale at Battleground North Apartments this morning.
All the above. People were selling all kinds of stuff: artificial Christmas tree, portrait of George Washington at Valley Forge, electric guitar and amplifier, roller blades, computer speakers, coffee tables, dressers, jeans, office chair, 19-inch TV, desk, toys.
