Video game system that's a Wii bit cheaper
More companies are trying to cash in on the success of the Wii video game system and its novel, wand-like controller that responds to your movement by offering much cheaper alternatives.
JC Penney's Web site, for example, has the My Sports Plug-N-Play game system for $39.99, not including shipping. (Regular $89.99). On sale for $49.99 in their stores.
That's far less than the Wii, which costs $249.99.
You can also get a Plug-N-Play at Amazon.com for $39.99.
Like the Wii, the Plug-N-Play features a wireless remote that responds to your movement. The Plug-N-Play also comes with one bat controller and pairs of golf club, tennis racket and boxing controller remotes. Five games are also included.
Haven't seen any reviews, so if you're considering getting one, check with the retailer regarding its return policy.
At the very least, it might be worth giving it a test run with your friends and relatives over the holidays.
