Home & closet consignment sale in Greensboro

A home and closet consignment sale is being held Friday and Saturday in downtown Greensboro.

They expect to be selling spring and summer men's, women's, children's and maternity clothes, shoes, purses, books and home accessories such as lamps, bedding, wall hangings, rugs, vases, tableware and accent furniture. Other items include electronics, toys and movies.

It's presented by the West Market Street United Methodist Church & Early Childhood Center.

It will be held at Fellowship Hall at the corner of Friendly Avenue and Commerce Place.

Hours are Friday, 9:30 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Saturday, 7:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

Consignors earn 60 percent of selling price, while all donations are tax deductible.

Volunteers can also attend a preview sale tonight.
