High Point company wins PTEN award

A High Point company is among the three winners of $30,000 from the Piedmont Triad Entrepreneurial Network’s Growth Accelerator Program.
Bruce Thomas of High Point is the principal of Cleantechnics International, which is producing a truck fluid filtration system. Two Winston-Salem companies, Aqualutions and AudioFusion also received the awards.
The award also offers high-level mentors to the winners.
The program "gives the early stage company executives a chance to work one-on-one and in small groups with professionals in finance, law, marketing, human resources and venture investing," said Jon Obermeyer, the interim CEO/VP of programs of PTEN.
