JetBlue touches down in North Carolina
JetBlue Airways kicked off service in the state today, starting in the Queen City. Check it out here.
The Charlotte Business Journal has coverage here.
JetBlue plans to expand its N.C. service, launching flights from Raleigh-Durham International Airport on July 20.
Piedmont Triad International Airport here still hasn't made the cut for the low-cost carrier.

JetBlue's already having an effect. Some RT fares have already been reduced from $375 to $207 to the NY area, the most popular destination from Charlotee Douglas.
Unfortunately, JetBlue in Charlotte may have a negative impact on GSO. During my travels I've met many people who've driven to GSO from Charlotte to get better fares to the NY area. Jet Blue's Charlotte gig pretty much erases that advantage.

Jon -
Have you flown JetBlue? If so, what do you think?

Never have flown JetBlue, probably because they've never had a toehold in this region until now.
Always been partial to USAirways and have flown them a lot.
