Lincoln Financial gives museum $75,000 grant
Lincoln Financial Group's charitable foundation has given the Greensboro Historical Museum $75,000 in grant money, according to a city news release.
Lincoln, the Philadelphia-based financial-services company that acquired Jefferson Pilot Financial and, in the process, a chunk of the downtown Greensboro skyline last year, created a local charitable contributions committee in July.
The committee's most recent donation will help fund a 10,000 square-foot renovation for "Greensboro: A Crossroads for Many Voices." The exhibition will look at the Gate City as a crossroads for ideas, events and people, according to the release.
