Downtown promoters to hold housing tour
Center city booster Downtown Greensboro Inc. plans to host a tour of six residential properties from four different builders from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. April 15.
The properties include four homes within the Southside community off Martin Luther King Boulevard, where the first four phases of homes already are sold out. Revival Properties is still marketing The Townhomes at McAdoo, The Lofts at Arlington and a Devonshire twin home in that community.
Potential buyers also can get a look at the Tower Homes at Southside, a collection of four-story town homes inspired by historic ammunition towers. The properties are being developed by Prestige Construction and marketed by Kathy Haines, at 339-2000 or khaines@triad.rr.com.
The tour also will include a stop at 600 Bellemeade, a Kavanagh Homes project of brownstones starting in the $300s. The homes include rooftop terraces and two or three bedrooms.
Finally, buyers can check out the Arbor House Condominiums, at 605 W. Market St. These are one and two-bedroom condos of 831 square feet to 1,800 square feet, located near the Kathleen Price Bryan YMCA and Blandwood Mansion. The model for the project is at 615 W. Friendly Ave.
