For discussion: Smoking
From today’s paper, my colleague Jason Hardin and I report on the results of a poll that says North Carolinians would back a law banning smoking in public places.
Some linkage:
- A press release from the poll.
- The poll data itslef.
- The Surgeon General’s report on second hand smoke mentioned in the story.
- Americans for Non-Smokers Rights.
- Lorillard Tobacco, which is based in GSO.
