Since the decision by DEMOCRAT Governor Mike Easley and DEMOCRAT Martin Lancaster to force NC Community Colleges to accept illegal aliens, I just wanted to let you know that I intend to vote a straight Republican ticket for the first time in my life and will never again send money to an illegal alien loving Democratic till the day I die.

This choice by DEMOCRAT Governor Mike Easley and DEMOCRAT Martin Lancaster will end up costing my fellow citizens a chance to live the American Dream.

I know I'm not from your state, but we have Democrats in our state and on the federal level also.

Poll after poll shows We the People want our laws enforced against those that hire illegal aliens, less legal immigration, no Amnesty and no Guest Worker program.

What can it be other than oppression directed by corporate when the elected leaders fail to listen to We the People? It can be nothing else but oppression when the elected leaders try to cram Amnesty and more legal immigration down our throats.

Go right ahead and pander to the open borders Hispanic bunch, you will never have mine or my families support again.

My dear Ms. Wright, given that you've stated that you are not from our state, I fail to understand precisely what kind of support you and your family are withdrawing. From whom? From North Carolina politicians, from this reporter, or from the people of our fair state? I need to know, so I can weigh it against the relative benefits of pandering to the open borders Hispanic bunch.

On the other hand, I'm not entirely sure what any of this has to do with Jim Neal. I was reading through all the old posts I could find (looking for good quotes for some blogging myself), when I discovered your thought-provoking objections to ... well, I'm not entirely sure what. But since you didn't let the topic of the original post determine your reply, I figured I would follow your lead.

I've rarely felt so inspired by something I've read in a comments section. I think I'll go beat up on some illegal aliens' kids (I don't know which ones are legal or illegal, really - they all look alike to me), and tell them to stop taking up public resources for their illegal activities. After that, I'm going to go over to the local high school and tell the rest of the coloreds that I'm sick and tired of their uppity ways.

Will that help you support North Carolina again? Is that more in keeping with the state you would like for us to behave?
