Lining up to run against Coble
At least two Democrats say that want to challenge Congressman Howard Coble in 2008.
As Scoop reported last week, blogger, painter and local Young Democrat honcho Jay Ovittore says he's jumping in.
Next in line is Johnny Carter of Summerfield, also a Democrat. Carter is "the General Manager of a well established contracting firm in Greensboro, North Carolina" according to his web site. Update: Ed Cone says Carter's policies don't sound all that Dem-ish, but the FEC says it's so.
Who else is jumping in the pool?

Ed Cone! I have started a "Draft Ed for Congress Committee" It will be model after the "Draft Fred Thompson Committee" that surge him to the front of the Republican Presidental pack, until he enter the offical race and is now is surgering back to the rear of the pack.
It's time for Ed to step up to the political plate and get off his lazy journalist blogging rear and prove every political blogging theory that he has suggested or commanded to every known political candiate in the Universe.
Go Ed!
ps....can I count on you Mark to get the first interview with Ed on a live men's restroom Republican bloggering site?
