Raleigh - Chairman Brad Wilson announced today that the 21st Century Transportation Committee will hold its first meeting on Wednesday, November 7, 2007.The Committee, appointed last week by Governor Mike Easley, Senate President Pro Tempore Marc Basnight, and House Speaker Joe Hackney, is charged with examining the condition and needs of North Carolina’s transportation system and making recommendations to the General Assembly.
