REAL ID update

Back in May, I wrote about Rep. Nelson Cole's desire to rebel against federal REAL ID regulation.

Just today, that bill got a hearing and passed out of the House Transportation Committee. I'm not sure how far it's going to get, seeing as how the legislative session is quickly winding down but consider the sabers rattled on the issue.

I wrote Mr Cole a man I consider a friend. I never got a reply. I am 100% for voter ID cards. I am also for not handing out driver license, to folks who can not speak English. How can they read the road? I am also for everyone driving having insurance. I have to have it, why not the illegals that the state gave drivers license. This BS answer, we can not find them, SUCKS. The democrats have no trouble finding to give the FREE college, WIC coupons and ever other freebie that can muster. This would be a great story for you to pursue, why illegals can drive with no car insurance. I tried to prod Doug Clark into this. You get hit by one, the first word the policeman says, you understand these

people have no car insurance. Must be
because they vote democrat. Why else would the democrats, not want voter ID cards?
